Contribute To Our Building Campaign
Several years ago, our church building experienced a fire which left us with a badly leaking roof. Thanks to the donations and dedication of our congregation and friends of our church, the roof is now repaired! Our goal now is to restore a meeting room on the lower level which was severely damaged by water. When it’s completed, we’ll be able to provide a comfortable space for our teenagers, Bible classes and workshops, 12-step meetings and more. Read more below about our building campaign. Who We Are
Located at the intersection of poverty and plenty in downtown Brooklyn, Next Step Community Church is a multicultural, multi-ethnic congregation. Our focus is reaching people in recovery from addiction, their families and friends with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
What We Need
Several years ago, our church building suffered from a fire which left us with a badly leaking roof. Thanks to the donations and dedication of our congregation and friends of our church, the roof is now repaired! Our goal now is to restore the room on the south side of the lower level, which was severely damaged by water. We’ll need approximately $10,000.
What We'll Be able To Do Once The Room Is Fixed
Reopen it as a multipurpose meeting space! We have many requests to hold events and special functions. We see offering the space to the following:
- Our teenagers
- 12-step meetings
- Community gatherings
- Bible studies, book clubs, workshops and classes
