Hope for New York (HFNY) mobilizes volunteers and financial resources to support nonprofit organizations serving the poor and marginalized in New York City. Over the last year they directed hundreds of helping hands to our food pantry, community breakfast, mother/baby ministry and more. At their annual Partner Convening held in early October 2026, HFNY gave Next Step Community Church its Mobilizing Hope Award, for providing the greatest number of volunteer opportunities in all of New York City. HFNY partners with more than 80 organizations across New York, so we are proud to receive this award. Thank you, HFNY! Together we will continue to provide care and hope to the thousands of people who come to our door.
